Wood Carving Stop-motion
Last spring I started carving an organic pattern on some red oak with the intension of using the carved pieces as doors for a small credenza. I’m finally finishing up the project and should have some good photos to share soon. While I was carving the doors I decided to document the process by creating a little stop-motion animation. That turned out to add a lot more time to the already laborious carving, but I think it will be fun when the animation is all complete. Once the cabinet is complete I will finish editing the animation, but in the meantime here is a short clip. Hope you enjoy!
