When I first started working in Brooklyn it was a real challenge to find a good shop/studio space. There are plenty of options out there but I found many of them to be lacking in one respect or another. Eventually I got wind of a new space opening up in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, and after seeing the place I jumped at the opportunity to join the shop. I feel incredibly fortunate to be one of the members of Liberty Labs. The shop is full of great makers and great tools. Recently we were visited by the senior editor of Fine Woodworking magazine, who wrote a short piece about the space and even featured an image of one of my Golden Cabinets.
