These maple snack bowls have a been turned nice and thin at the rim, tapering to a thicker base for a light yet weighted feel. The curvature of the bowl flows all the way around, forming a bowl with a continuous round base with no foot. The smooth curvature feels great in the hand when using it as a snack or nut bowl, yet placed on a table, the thicker base keeps the bowl grounded.
This was a small production set and while each bowl is unique, the larger three have more variation in form. With that in mind I’ve made the larger bowls individually selectable when ordering.

取扱いについて：
These bowls are finished with a food safe finish commonly called liquid glass here in Japan. Liquid glass protects the wood from water penetration, but please refrain from leaving your wooden ware soaking in water. Washing can be done by simply wiping with a damp rag or by using a mild detergent. After washing please thoroughly dry with a clean cloth.
After prolonged use the surface of the wood may loose it’s original warmth and may start to look dry. To rejuvenate the surface simply wipe on a light coat of a drying food grade oil. I recommend perilla, linseed or walnut oil.
