Cherry bowl turned super thin allowing the rim to be formed into a flowing and undulating surface. The thickness of the bottom of the bowl is approximately 5-6 mm thick (~1/4″), and gradually tapers to a very thin edge. Coated with iron acetate turning the cherry a rich brown color.

Care Notes –
This bowl is coated with a food safe finish commonly called liquid glass. Liquid glass protects the wood from water penetration, but please refrain from leaving your wooden ware soaking in water. After use, washing can be done by simply wiping with a damp rag or by using a mild detergent. After washing please thoroughly dry with a clean cloth.
After prolonged use the surface of the wood may loose it’s original warmth and may start to look dry. To rejuvenate the surface simply wipe on a light coat of a drying food grade oil. We recommend perilla, linseed or walnut oil.
