A maple bowl with a thin and lighty warped edge. Thick at the bottom and gradually tapering to a very thin edge, the bowl is delicate in appearance yet strong enough for daily use. Treated with iron acetate turning the pale maple to a classic brown/grey color.

Care Notes –
This bowl has been coated with a food safe finish commonly called liquid glass. Liquid glass protects the wood from water penetration, but please refrain from leaving your wooden ware soaking in water. After use, washing can be done by simply wiping with a damp rag or by using a mild detergent. After washing please thoroughly dry with a clean cloth.
After prolonged use the surface of the wood may loose it’s original warmth and may start to look dry. To rejuvenate the surface simply wipe on a light coat of a drying food grade oil. We recommend perilla, linseed or walnut oil.
