Maple bowl with a thin and lightly warped edge. The bowl is approximately 8mm (5/16″) thick at the bottom and gradually tapers to a very thin edge. It’s delicate, yet surprisingly strong. Treated with iron acetate turning the pale maple to a classic brown/grey color.

Care Notes –
Our bowls, plates and trays are coated with a food safe finish commonly called liquid glass. Liquid glass protects the wood from water penetration, but please refrain from leaving your wooden ware soaking in water. After use, washing can be done by simply wiping with a damp rag or by using a mild detergent. After washing please thoroughly dry with a clean cloth.
After prolonged use the surface of the wood may loose it’s original warmth and may start to look dry. To rejuvenate the surface simply wipe on a light coat of a drying food grade oil. We recommend perilla, linseed or walnut oil.
